Job summary

Ramboll seeks an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to lead and grow its Transmission & Distribution capability in the UK. This role blends technical leadership, design management, training, and client-facing support on major power infrastructure projects across substations, OHL foundations, and cable routes.

You will act as a technical authority and Design Manager, mentor junior staff, attend client and bid meetings, and help shape proposals while supporting business strategy in T&D.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering (BEng/MEng).
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng MIStructE).
• 10+ years’ experience in civil & structural engineering with strong T&D exposure.

Responsibilities

• Act as Design Manager/Lead Engineer for T&D civil and structural projects.
• Lead the delivery of designs for substations, OHL foundations, and cable routes.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and oversee design risk management.
