Job summary

Ramboll seeks a Senior/Principal/Associate Civil/Structural Engineer to lead and grow its UK Transmission & Distribution capability. You will act as technical authority, design manager, and mentor for the engineering team on major power infrastructure projects across substations, OHL foundations, and cable routes.

Qualifications

Degree (BEng/MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered Engineer (CEng MIStructE) status.
10+ years in civil/structural engineering with T&D exposure.
Experience with National Grid and UK DNOs.
Lead Engineer/Design Manager or Technical Authority experience.

Responsibilities

Act as Design Manager / Lead Engineer for Transmission & Distribution civil and structural projects.
Lead design delivery for substations, OHL foundations, and cable routes.
Attend client and marketing meetings as senior technical representative.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee design risk management.
Support training strategy and capability development for civil engineers.
