Systems Support Analyst (Clinical Applications)

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Systems Support Analyst to join our evolving Systems team. The role offers flexibility, hybrid working, and the opportunity to support clinical IT systems across sites in Darlington, Peterlee, and other locations in County Durham.

Overview

The successful candidate will provide technical administration, configuration, development, and support for one or more of the Trust’s clinical IT systems. Personal and career development is supported, with a focus on enhancing knowledge of healthcare and clinical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, maintain, and provide user support for Trust systems.
  • Directly report to a Systems Manager and collaborate closely with Senior Systems Support Analysts.
  • Ensure users receive high-quality service in terms of data quality, system availability, technical, and operational support.
Person Specification
Special Skills & Knowledge
  • Demonstrable SQL skills.
  • Experience with software development tools.
  • A sound working knowledge of computer-based systems.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.
  • Ability to analyse data from different sources and correlate discrepancies.
  • Strong communication skills for highly complex information.
  • Understanding of modern IT solutions and clinical processes.
Experience
  • Substantial experience in a technical role.
  • Proven experience in developing computer-based solutions.
  • Experience managing configuration changes through controlled procedures and testing.
  • Customer service experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in healthcare environments.
Qualifications
