Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead to establish and drive practices across its operational technology landscape. You will lead and mentor teams, govern requirements, and promote structured engineering throughout the project lifecycle.

The role demands deep systems thinking, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with software, electronics, infrastructure, and broadcast teams across multiple locations, including Biggin Hill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electronic/Software/Aerospace or related discipline.
• MBSE training or SysML knowledge; architecture frameworks understood.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and improve systems engineering processes, standards and ways of working.
• Provide technical leadership and assurance across projects and programmes.
• Define architectural principles and integration frameworks for complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end system design.
