Job summary

Motorsport Network, LLC is seeking an Electronics Systems Engineer to lead setup, development and support of electronic systems across our Formula One programme. You'll work on race cars, simulators, test rigs and development facilities, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions.

You'll configure instrumentation, ECUs and data loggers, analyse telemetry, develop onboard diagnostic tools and support testing and race operations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, instrumentation and installations.
  • Experience with sensors, data logging and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with motorsport ECUs, data loggers and interfaces (SECU, McLaren Applied).
  • Understanding of automotive/motorsport networks.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Zuken, PCAN, C++.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electronic systems for race cars, simulators, test rigs and development facilities.
  • Configure, calibrate and implement instrumentation and data logging systems.
  • Set up ECUs, data loggers and instrumentation for testing and race operations.
  • Develop and integrate custom electronic systems and controllers.
  • Support sign-off testing of vehicle systems and assemblies.
  • Diagnose faults across sensors, wiring and ECUs.
  • Analyse telemetry data to assess system health and performance.
  • Develop onboard diagnostic tools to improve fault detection.
  • Collaborate with project owners to define electronic system requirements.
  • Provide factory and trackside support during tests and races.
