Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead to establish and drive engineering practices across our operational technology landscape. You will provide technical leadership across projects and mentor teams.

With a focus on requirements, telemetry, data standards and architecture, you will collaborate with software, electronics, infrastructure, and broadcast teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end systems for racing and events.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
• Experience authoring and reviewing technical requirements and interface documents.
• Leadership and communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and improve systems engineering processes and standards across teams.
• Own governance for requirements and specifications, ensuring quality and traceability.
• Define architectural principles and integration frameworks for complex systems.
• Provide oversight of verification, validation and governance activities.
