Job summary

Extreme Networks seeks a Systems Engineer to deliver technology consulting and technical sales support. You will present to customers and channel partners, participate in PoC activities, and help craft solutions that meet customer requirements.

You will join a team that collaborates on RFI/RFP responses and designs end-to-end networking solutions. Domestic/international travel is required, with access to training resources and a flexible work model.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation skills
• Successful pre-sales track record in the industry and territory
• Sound knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing concepts, VPNs, and Wi‑Fi design
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud-based network management platforms is a plus
• Ability to lead PoC labs and design customer solutions with a team

Responsibilities

• Provide technology and product consulting for opportunities in the territory
• Perform high-level, in-depth technical presentations for customers and channel partners
• Support RFI/RFP responses and organize PoC activities
• Design solutions meeting customer requirements and participate as a specialist on virtual teams
• Travel domestically and internationally as required
