Job summary

Versa Networks is seeking Sr. Systems Engineers to help customers evaluate and adopt our Secure SD-WAN and SASE technology. You will work with customers and partners in pre-sales activities, demonstrations, and workshops to illustrate product capabilities and deployment options.

Your role involves hands-on testing, designing network solutions, and staying current on competitive offerings, enabling successful proof-of-concept deployments across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Defence sector accounts.
• Active security clearance preferred.
• Design/operate service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
• Knowledge of cloud security solutions (FWaaS, DLP, CASB, RBI, malware prevention).
• Familiarity with proxies, SSL/TLS, VPNs, Active Directory/SAML/LDAP, threat prevention.
• Understanding of SASE architecture and TCP/IP stack.
• Experience with WAN technologies: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, Multicast.
• Ability to architect/manage large-scale enterprise networking and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to achieve sales targets.
• Establish advisory role with strategic clients (CIO, CISO).
• Update and enable partner network on product evolution.
