Job summary
Extreme Networks in the United Kingdom is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our global team. You will provide technology consulting, support for account opportunities, and deliver high‑level technical presentations to customers and channel partners.
You will design solutions that meet customer requirements, organize and lead PoC activities, and contribute to RFI/RFP responses. Domestic and international travel is required as part of working with regional teams and partners.
Qualifications
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory.
- Fundamental networking knowledge in Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/IPv6, VPNs.
- Wi‑Fi operation and design knowledge.
- Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based network management platforms is a plus.
- Experience working on PoC labs and customer projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technology and product consulting to customers and partners.
- Lead PoC activities and design solutions meeting customer requirements.
- Support RFI/RFP responses and participate in virtual project teams.
- Assist in customer evaluations and demonstrations.
- Engage with partners for technical training and account development.
