Job summary

Evolve BG Ltd is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to translate customer needs into robust, commercial network solutions. You will work with sales, delivery and partners to shape proposals and handover to delivery teams.

The role blends networking expertise with customer engagement and clear, jargon-free explanations for diverse audiences. Travel to customer sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, network engineering or network architecture.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS and high-availability design.
• Practical understanding of managed WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and internet connectivity solutions.
• Good knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, secure remote access, segmentation and zero-trust concepts.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into clear, supportable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customers’ objectives and constraints.
• Design managed network solutions covering WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, SD-WAN, internet connectivity and security.
• Produce clear solution designs, diagrams, scopes of work and proposals.
• Present and demonstrate proposed solutions to technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet security, compliance, performance and scalability requirements.
