Job summary

Cardo Group is seeking a Systems Administrator in Cardiff to support and improve core IT systems across the group. The role involves implementing new systems, configuring software, and ensuring uptime for business teams.

You will work with analysts and data scientists to develop dashboards and training materials for end users. You should have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with PowerBI or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in systems administration.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or knowledge of other data tools such as PowerBI or similar.
• Ability to produce training materials in a variety of formats.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the day-to-day operation of core IT systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business teams and are reliable and available.
• Identifying and addressing issues before they impact users.
• Implementations of current and new IT systems into contracts, sites or offices.
• Working with system providers to install, configure, and upgrade software and rollout new or improved functionality across the Group.
• Develop system training materials for distribution across the Group to ensure all users know how to use our systems, upskill users and to assist with first line support.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using PowerBI to present management information.
