Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location:

Gloucester, United Kingdom

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Purpose of the Role:

The Workday finance administrator will support the day-to-day operations of Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, responding to tickets from Finance and P2P teams via Easyvista. Building relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues, the role involves resolving queries related to the Workday system. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Workday (or similar ERP systems) and eager to deepen their expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the Workday finance system to support users.
2. Document system configurations, processes, and integrations.
3. Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
4. Support configuration changes and new system features.
5. Provide technical and functional support for finance processes.
6. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements.
7. Create documentation to facilitate system changes adoption.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
2. Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization; certification is a plus.
3. Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
4. Understanding of financial systems and processes.
5. At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
6. Experience supporting Workday finance systems.
7. Experience in an international organization.
8. Understanding of data security principles within Workday.
9. Technical background across multiple technologies.
10. Experience in finance and IT functions.
11. Knowledge of the property sector is advantageous.
