Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets from the Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries regarding the Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge in Workday.

This role involves being part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancements to our Workday deployment. The team will grow as we expand our Workday finance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize the Workday finance system across the business.
2. Support Workday finance users daily.
3. Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
4. Administer and support the Workday finance system.
5. Implement configuration changes and support new system features.
6. Provide technical and functional support for finance processes.
7. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand and address their requirements.
8. Create documentation to facilitate system change adoption.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Understanding of financial systems and business processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience in a Workday finance support role.
• Experience working in an international organization.
• Understanding of data security principles and implementing security in Workday.
• Technical background across multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.
