Job description

Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: London

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from across the Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries regarding our Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.

This role involves being part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancements for Workday solutions, supporting and expanding our existing deployment as we further implement Workday finance.

Key Accountabilities

1. Manage and optimize the Workday finance system across the business.
2. Support Workday finance users with daily operations.
3. Document system configurations, processes, and integrations comprehensively.
4. Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
5. Support configuration changes and review new system features.
6. Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
7. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements and challenges.
8. Create and deliver documentation to facilitate successful system changes.

Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
2. Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification a plus).
3. Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
4. Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
5. At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
6. Experience in a Workday finance support role.
7. Experience working within an international organization.
8. Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing security in Workday.
9. Technical background across multiple technologies.
10. Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
11. Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.

2. Quick learner with the ability to acquire new technical skills.
