Job Description:

Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: Swindon

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from across the Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries when using our Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP system) and eager to deepen knowledge in Workday.

You will be part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancement of the Workday solutions; supporting and improving our existing Workday deployment. This role and team will grow as we expand our Workday finance deployment.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage Workday finance system configuration and optimisation across the business.
• Support Workday finance users with day-to-day system management.
• Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
• Support configuration changes and review new system features.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand their requirements.
• Create documentation to facilitate system changes adoption.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience supporting Workday finance systems.
• Experience in an international organisation.
• Understanding of data security principles and security implementation in Workday.
• Technical background across multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new technical areas quickly.
