Job summary

Wolseley Group is seeking a Sustainability Projects and Reporting Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. The role is hybrid, with responsibilities spanning governance, data management, and the delivery of sustainability reporting and disclosures across Scope 1-3 emissions.

You will support decarbonisation initiatives, climate transition planning, and SBTi activities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive measurable environmental and social value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sustainability reporting and disclosures including annual reporting and investor reporting.
• Strong understanding of sustainability regulations and frameworks (CfD, EU Taxonomy, CBAM).
• Experience collecting, analysing and reporting Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Wolseley’s sustainability reporting and disclosures.
• Own sustainability data management and reporting processes across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Support decarbonisation programme and climate transition planning, including SBTi activities.
• Drive sustainability projects aligned to the Sustainability Strategy and track progress.

Sustainability Projects and Reporting Manager (12-Month Maternity Cover) - Hybrid - Wolseley Group

As a Sustainability Projects and Reporting Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of Wolseley's sustainability reporting and disclosures, ensuring compliance with current and emerging requirements including CfD, EU Taxonomy and other key frameworks.
• Owning sustainability data management and reporting processes, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and wider environmental performance metrics.
• Supporting the development and delivery of our decarbonisation programme, climate transition planning and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) activities.
• Driving sustainability projects and initiatives aligned to our Sustainability Strategy, tracking progress and delivering measurable business, environmental and social value.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst supporting sustainability governance, reporting and continuous improvement activities.

• Proven experience delivering sustainability reporting and disclosures, including annual reporting, ESG assessments and investor reporting.
• Strong understanding of sustainability regulations and frameworks, including CfD, EU Taxonomy, CBAM and related requirements.
• Experience collecting, analysing and reporting sustainability data, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple business functions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex sustainability topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is a 12-month maternity cover position, ideally due to commence in November or December 2026. The role is advertised as full-time (40 hours per week); however, we would consider part time for the right candidate.
