Job Description:

The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands, ideally in Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, or Derby.

Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.

Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager manages all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, planning, implementing activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans accordingly.

The role involves growing Osteotec's business by selling products directly to customers such as Spine Surgeons, decision-makers in clinical and non-clinical roles, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise in the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and sell spine products into NHS and private hospitals.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs monthly and annually.
  • Demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments.
  • Conduct product trials and evaluations to drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support customer acquisition.
  • Develop and execute an effective sales business plan.
  • Manage resources and materials, including consignment stock in hospitals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers, including surgeons and hospital staff.
  • Organize and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff.
  • Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales and market conditions.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders in the territory.
  • Ensure all activities comply with ethics and legal standards.
  • Liaise with other company departments to meet sales objectives.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development.
  • Track record of meeting sales targets within budgets.
  • Medical device sales experience, preferably in spine, orthopaedics, or operating theatre environments.
  • Valid driving license required.
