Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking an Instrument Coordinator for Runnymede Hospital on bank shifts. The role manages surgical instrumentation, coordinates with decontamination and external providers, and supports theatre teams to maintain flow and stock integrity.

You will ensure instruments are clean, functional and available on time, while assisting with consumables and supplier compliance. This position requires theatre experience, strong organisation, and good teamwork to meet daily schedules in

Qualifications

• Experience in a theatre environment or clinical support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic understanding of infection control and decontamination processes.
• Good communication and teamwork with a professional and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation, liaising with internal decontamination services and external hospitals where required.
• Ensure all instruments are clean, functional, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner to meet daily theatre schedules.
• Assist in the ordering, rotation, and replenishment of theatre consumables, ensuring alignment with Circle Health Group’s preferred suppliers and procurement policies.
• Support the theatre team in delivering seamless surgical services, contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Work closely with theatre practitioners, sterile services, procurement and external providers to ensure clarity and continuity in equipment and stock availability.
• Ensure all instrumentation handling complies with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
