Circle Health Group at Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex is seeking an Instrument Coordinator to join the Theatre team. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern and a salary of up to £25,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

The post involves managing instrumentation, liaising with decontamination and external providers, and supporting the theatre team to deliver safe, efficient surgical services. Prior theatre experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a theatre environment or clinical support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.
• Understanding of infection control and instrument handling procedures.
• Good communication and teamworking skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation and liaise with decontamination services.
• Ensure instruments are clean, functional and delivered to the correct locations for daily theatre schedules.
• Assist in ordering, rotation and replenishment of theatre consumables aligned with policies.
• Support the theatre team to deliver seamless surgical services and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with theatre practitioners, sterile services and procurement to maintain stock availability.
• Ensure instrumentation handling complies with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
