Circle Health Group is seeking an Instrument Coordinator at Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey. This bank role covers theatre instrumentation prep, decontamination liaison, and stock replenishment to support daily theatre schedules.

You will ensure instruments are clean, functional and delivered to the right locations, while coordinating with theatre practitioners, sterile services and procurement. Excellent organisation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a theatre environment or clinical support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic understanding of infection control, instrument handling, and decontamination processes.
• Good communication and teamworking skills with a professional and reliable approach.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation, liaising with internal decontamination services and external hospitals where required.
• Ensure all instruments are clean, functional, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner to meet daily theatre schedules.
• Assist in the ordering, rotation, and replenishment of theatre consumables, ensuring alignment with Circle Health Group’s preferred suppliers and procurement policies.
• Support the theatre team in delivering seamless surgical services, contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Work closely with theatre practitioners, sterile services, procurement, and external providers to ensure clarity and continuity in equipment and stock availability.
• Ensure all instrumentation handling complies with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
