Where does the role fit in?

This role sits within Pobl’s housing services and reports to the senior leadership team. You will lead a small team of Supported Housing Partnerships Officers and work closely with colleagues across housing compliance, safeguarding and customer accounts. You will also represent Pobl externally, building strong relationships with managing agents, support providers, commissioners and other multi‑agency partners. Although the role is flexible it is not home‑based. You’ll spend much of your time visiting schemes, seeing services in action and meeting partners to understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring supported housing services are safe, compliant, sustainable and genuinely focused on the needs of residents.

  • Supported housing knowledge – experience managing services and working with external providers or partners

  • Clear communicator – able to explain complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing

Time off and Flexibility
  • Based in Cardiff with regular travel in Cardiff and surrounding local authorities. Meetings may be held at our Cardiff, Newport or Swansea offices.
  • Working days are predominately Monday to Friday or you can work compressed hours on a 9‑day fortnight.
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
  • Maternity & adoption leave: 20 weeks.
  • Paternity leave: 3 weeks.
Money and Pensions

Salary: £44,121 for a full‑time maternity position (37 hours).

  • 45p per mile for mileage allowance.
  • Pension contributions – chosen from a Defined Contribution scheme with matched contributions up to 10%, or a Defined Benefit of 1/80 of final salary per year of service.
