Together Housing Group is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver a customer-focused housing management service across our supported housing schemes. You will ensure schemes are safe, well managed and provide the right environment for residents to thrive.

You will manage lettings, allocations, tenancy matters, and repairs while coordinating with care providers, commissioners and internal teams. The role supports vulnerable residents and requires strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a wide range of housing management services including lettings, allocations, voids and tenancy management.
• Experience in supported or sheltered housing with understanding of residents’ needs.
• Experience dealing with tenancy breaches, antisocial behaviour, safeguarding and service charges.
• Experience involving customers and stakeholders in service delivery.
• Experience working with multiple agencies and partners to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Knowledge of best practice in housing management within a supported housing environment.
• Understanding the needs of frail, elderly, vulnerable and disadvantaged people and how to respond sensitively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with residents and partners.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsabilités

• Deliver an efficient, customer-focused housing management service across sheltered and supported schemes.
• Work with Lettings and Property Services to manage voids and lettings and meet targets.
• Coordinate nominations, assessments and allocations with care providers and commissioners.
• Undertake accompanied viewings and tenancy sign-ups to ensure timely lettings.
• Support new developments by coordinating enquiries, nominations and lettings as schemes come into management.
• Carry out scheme inspections and health and safety checks for a safe environment.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance and identify investment requirements.
• Provide tenancy advice and support tailored to residents’ circumstances.
• Manage tenancy changes, including exchanges and transfers.
• Deal with tenancy breaches and antisocial behaviour with specialist teams as appropriate.
• Monitor quality of cleaning, estate services and providers against standards.
• Maintain management agreements, SLAs and partnerships.
• Engage with residents and stakeholders to consider diverse needs in service delivery.
• Contribute to scheme appraisals, sustainability assessments and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate tenancy records and contribute to reports and correspondence.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver joined-up services.
