Job summary

The National Autistic Society is looking for a part-time Support Worker at Pinecroft to help autistic adults lead their best lives. You will follow individual support plans, assist with night-time and morning routines, and help maintain a clean home in line with infection control standards.

Flexibility for evening and weekend work is required. A driving licence is essential for some shifts; DBS checks will be completed as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete safeguarding and DBS checks.
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
• Desirable driving licence (minimum 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with night-time and morning routines.
• Keep the home clean and tidy in line with infection control standards.
• Perform opening/closing checks in the kitchen and support planned activities.

We are looking for staff with a "can do" approach who can offer active support to facilitate and enable the people we support and help keep their home tidy and clean., We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and night and morning routines. While residents are asleep you will be undertaking the housekeeping cleaning duties ensuring that we meet infection prevention and control standards.

  This advert is for a part-time position at 27 Hours per week.

Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working. Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is essential
