National Autistic Society is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Pinecroft, a specialised residential home supporting autistic adults with varied mental health needs. You will help individuals follow personalised support plans, promote independence and wellbeing, and work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
We value a can-do attitude, safeguarding commitment, and willingness to learn. Driving licence (minimum one year) is essential.

Pinecroft is our specialised residential home where we support autistic adults who has a variety of mental health needs.
We support them to develop skills to promote their health and wellbeing, inclusion in the local community and greater independence.
We are looking for staff with a “can do” approach who can offer active support to facilitate and enable the people we support to progress and move on.
We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers.
Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.
Support life skills & independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation, room cleaning, train and bus journeys)
Support accessing chosen activities (gym, hiking, volunteering, pool, darts)
Record detailed and accurate digital support notes
For you to inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working as well as sleep-in shifts.
