Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Support Worker in Weymouth to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and health needs. The role includes day-to-day support, promoting independence, and helping with daily activities in a full-time 40-hour week.

No prior care sector experience is required as full training and development are provided in a supportive environment. DBS checks, pensions, and a range of staff benefits are offered.

  • Promoting independence whilst helping residents live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

LOCATION: Weymouth, Dorset DT4

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15 per hour

HOURS: Full Time - 40 hours per week

About Weymouth

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Weymouth, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries

We work in partnership with Local Health Professionals such as social workers, community nurses, and specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Person Centred Planning Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan.

As a Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day-to-day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including
