Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Gosport is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our waking nights team. This part-time role offers meaningful work supporting adults with learning disabilities and other needs, with training provided and a pro-rated annual salary of £25,845.

You’ll help with daily tasks, encourage social activities, and promote independence in a friendly, supportive environment. Flexibility and strong people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• No care experience? Training is provided.
• Transferable skills from retail, hospitality, customer service or childcare are valuable.
• We will teach you the rest and support your development.

Responsibilities

• Help adults with learning disabilities, autism, or physical disabilities live independently.
• Support with everyday tasks like shopping, cooking, or household chores.
• Encourage social activities, community involvement and family connections.
• Provide respectful personal care where needed.
