Job summary

The Housing Network is opening a brand-new service in Bristol and is seeking experienced Support Workers to help vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness. You will provide strength-based and trauma-informed support, building trusting relationships and creating tailored support plans.

This role offers a salary of £29,000, 31 days of annual leave, and opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting families facing homelessness

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support sessions and signposting to help residents gain independence.
• Develop and implement outcome-focused support plans for residents.
• Manage a caseload of residents to ensure engagement with appropriate support.
• Assist residents to understand tenancy documents and identify knowledge gaps for future engagement.
• Uphold safeguarding awareness and protection for individuals and the wider community.
