Job summary

DHI is recruiting a full-time Support Worker for our Bristol Move On Service in Kingswood, Bristol. The two-year placement helps residents leave Bristol’s Homeless Pathway by developing tenancy skills in their own flat.

You will deliver regular support sessions, create proactive plans with residents, and signpost to services while engaging in multi-agency collaboration. The role requires flexibility and safeguarding awareness to place resident wellbeing first.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or housing support is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular support sessions with residents and develop proactive support plans.
• Signpost residents to other services to ease their journey toward independence.
• Be involved in multi-agency working to coordinate support across services.
• Maintain safeguarding awareness and prioritise residents' wellbeing in all activities.
• Demonstrate flexibility in a varied and demanding environment and adapt approaches as needed.
