Job summary

Pertemps Tm in Bristol is seeking a caring Support Worker to assist adult males with enduring mental health and social care needs in a low-support housing setting.

The role is part-time (14.8 hours per week) and permanent, offering a supportive environment where you help residents sustain tenancies, manage benefits and budgeting, and participate in their social inclusion and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults
• Ideally housing/homelessness experience
• Understanding of homelessness & tenancy sustainment
• Good safeguarding knowledge
• Confident with IT and record keeping
• Enhanced DBS required
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Support residents to maintain their tenancies and live independently
• Help with benefits, bills and budgeting
• Encourage social inclusion and community involvement
• Support access to employment, education and training
• Complete risk assessments and support plans
• Maintain accurate records
• Build positive relationships with residents and partner agencies
