Keys Group seeks a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism in Bridgend (CF31). You will deliver personalised daily support, promote independence, and participate in activities that empower service users.

Hours are 35 per week, with patterns including days, evenings, nights and weekends. A full UK manual driving licence is required and flexibility for day and night shifts is essential.

About The Whitehouse:

At The Whitehouse, we support up to 7 adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

We focus on empowering the people we support to develop their skills and to progress along their recovery pathway.

The service recognises that each person is has different aims and objective in which they want to achieve, this may range from achieving daily living skills to total independence. The home uses a wide range of tools to ensure successful outcomes

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
