Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for The Whitehouse in Bridgend, UK, to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism in daily living and personal care. You will support routines, promote independence, accompany appointments, and help with budgeting and shopping.

Competenze

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required.
• Must be flexible to work day and night shifts.
• Experience in care settings or supporting adults is advantageous.

About The Whitehouse:

At The Whitehouse, we support up to 7 adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

We focus on empowering the people we support to develop their skills and to progress along their recovery pathway.

The service recognises that each person is has different aims and objective in which they want to achieve, this may range from achieving daily living skills to total independence. The home uses a wide range of tools to ensure successful outcomes

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
