Job summary

Sterling Cross Ltd is recruiting Support Workers and Team Leads to join learning disability services across Gateshead and surrounding areas. You will help adults live more independently, with full training and ongoing support provided. Roles vary by service and may involve personal care and helping people participate in daily activities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/RQF Level 2 or willing to work towards.
• Driver is beneficial but not essential.
• Genuine interest in supporting people to live independently.
• Caring, patient and positive approach.
• Unrestricted UK Right to work; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily routines to promote independence.
• Assist with getting out and about, activities and community engagement.
• May include personal care, medication and household tasks depending on service.
