Job summary

Sterling Cross Ltd is seeking Support Workers to join learning disability services across the Gateshead and Newcastle areas. You will help adults live as independently as possible, supporting with daily routines, activities, and building confidence. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

Experience as a Support Worker is welcome; bringing your own skills to a rewarding role where every day is different. Driver is beneficial but not essential; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Willing to work towards NVQ/RQF Level 2.
• Caring, patient and positive approach.
• Unrestricted UK Right to work; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support adults to live as independently and confidently as possible.
• Assist with everyday routines, getting out and about, trying new activities and building independence.
• Help with personal care, medication and household tasks where required by the service.
