Job summary

Careline Lifestyles - Lyons Court in Bishop Auckland is seeking caring, resilient and enthusiastic Support Workers. You will provide person-centred support to residents, helping them build independence and achieve their goals. Roles include assisting with daily living, community activities, and life skills development.

No two days are the same, and full training will be provided to support adults who may display behaviours that challenge. Enhanced DBS checks are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
• Experience with complex needs is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

The Role

Location: Lyons Court, Evenwood, Bishop Auckland

Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Hours: Part-time & Full-time available

Job Type: Permanent

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support to the people living in our service, helping them build independence, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life.

You could be supporting someone with their daily routine, accessing the community, taking part in activities, developing life skills or simply providing reassurance when they need it.

Your Key Duties

You will be responsible for:

• Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans
• Supporting with daily living activities and personal care where required
• Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion
• Building positive and trusting relationships
• Supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge
• Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement
• Supporting individuals to develop life skills and confidence
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Working positively with colleagues, families and other professionals
