Job summary

A rolling vacancy for experienced Support Workers in Derby, offering flexible night work and local shifts with immediate starts. You will support young people aged 16 and above, helping them learn vital life skills to live independently at 18. We can assist with DBS and mandatory training, while sponsorships are not offered.

Join a compassionate team dedicated to making a difference and providing sub-sidised training if needed; night shifts run throughout the week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience in a care environment.
• DBS dated within the last 12 months or facility to pay for one.
• All mandatory training up-to-date and certificates to show or facility to pay for these.
• A passion to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with daily tasks including cooking, cleaning and personal care.
• Help users participate in activities and leave the house for outings.
• Follow individual care plans to promote independence.
• Work as part of a team to deliver consistent care.

Flexible night work available for experienced Support Workers within Derby.

We have hours available for experienced support workers to join our agency and work within a supported living unit in Derby.

Within this role you will be supporting young people from the age of 16 and help them learn the necessary life skills to be able to live independently at 18. The service users may have had traumatic experiences previously therefore, this role requires a calm and patient person to help them overcome their past and have a brighter future.

You will be following plans which help the service users with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and leaving the house to do activities.

Don’t have a valid DBS and/or training?? Do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

For this role, you must have;
