Job description

Exciting Opportunity for experienced Support Workers in the NG5 area of Nottingham!

We are looking for passionate Support Workers to join our agency and work alongside a dedicated team of professionals within a supported-living unit within the NG5 area of Nottingham.

You will be supporting adults who are living with learning disabilities such as autism.

As a support worker at this home, you will aid the service user’s mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.

You will carry out activities with the resident that with enhance their quality of life. You will promote their independence and help them learn the necessary life skills.

For this role, you must have;

• A referenceable work history covering recent experience supporting service users living with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
• A DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one
• All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or the facility to pay for these.
• Ability to reliably commute 20-30mins from Nottingham City Centre
• Available for immediate starts
• A passion to make a difference
