Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking experienced Support Workers for flexible hours at a rural care home serving up to 27 residents.

The role focuses on individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs, requiring empathy, attentiveness, and adherence to personalised care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, light housekeeping, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training.
• A referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and morning/night routines.
• Support residents with personal care while promoting independence.
• Carry out general housekeeping and maintain health and safety standards.
• Report condition updates and changes in residents’ needs.
• Respect individual preferences and tailor care accordingly.

Flexible hours for experienced Support Workers in a beautiful rural location!

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to work flexible hours throughout the week at a specialist care home supporting up to 27 residents.

The service focuses on individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs, so it is essential that you are attentive, compassionate, and committed to following personalised care plans that ensure each resident feels heard, respected, and supported.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities such as morning and night-time routines, supporting residents with personal care, and helping them maintain as much independence as possible. You will also be expected to carry out general housekeeping duties, maintain health and safety standards, report condition updates, and cater to each individual’s preferences and needs.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months

Typical hours will be;

08:00 to 15:00 with the occasional requirement to do 08:00 to 17:00
