Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a night-time Support Worker to join a Sherwood-based unit supporting up to 8 residents with autism and learning disabilities. The role focuses on assisting daily activities, mobility support, and completing reports, with flexible nights from 22:00 to 08:00.

You will need at least 3 months in a similar care environment, a checkable work history, a up-to-date safeguarding, moving and handling and infection control training, and an in-date enhanced

• 3 months experience in a similar care environment.
• Checkable work history.
• Up-to-date mandatory training: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control (online training available).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in daily activities.
• Provide mobility support where necessary.
• Carry out domestic duties and update condition reports.
• Manage behaviours that may pose challenges and document appropriately.

Ideal role for a Support Worker looking for additional work during the night.

We have an exciting opportunity for hardworking and friendly Support Workers to join the team in a great Sherwood based support unit. Up to 8 residents recieve personalised support for autism and learning disabilities, with activities tailored to promoting independence and development,

Your responsibilities as a Support Worker will include working alongside residents in daily activities and providing mobility support where necessary, as well as domestic duties and condition update reports. Due to the nature of the role, you may also face behaviour which challenges, and so previous support experience is essential.

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• An in date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

This position is ongoing.

Flexible night shifts available from Monday to Sunday, at 22:00 to 08:00. You can choose the days that suit you!

Rate of pay for this role £12.71 per hour
