Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd in Malvern is seeking a part-time Support Worker to assist customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions. You will support daily living, attend appointments and help with meals and activities, while maintaining records and care plans.

The role requires empathy, reliability and the ability to work weekends and varied hours. Full UK driving license preferred with mileage paid.

Qualifications

• Good at working on your own and within a team.
• Excellent at communicating with people.
• Able to complete quality support records.
• Able to work every other weekends.
• Able to work between 7am and 10:30pm.
• Follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain records.
• Literacy and numeracy in English.
• Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene as required.
• Medication administration where needed.
• Support with meals, appointments and social activities.
• Keep care plans updated and maintain records.
• Keep training up to date and comply with policies.
