Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd is seeking a Female Casual Support Worker in Malvern to assist customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health conditions, enabling them to live the lives they choose. A full UK driving license is preferred but not essential, with flexible hours and comprehensive training provided.

You will join a not-for-profit provider committed to safeguarding, staff development and high-quality care, while offering benefits and a supportive team

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; values and determination matter.
• Ability to follow a Support Plan and risk assessments.
• Able to complete quality care records.
• Good at working alone and as part of a team.
• Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities
• Support with independent skills
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with your training
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
