Job summary

Dimensions Group is seeking compassionate care workers in Bridgend to support four men with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. You will assist with daily living, personal care, and community activities, using a person-centred approach.

Shifts vary, including weekends and evenings. A full UK driving licence is essential. The role emphasises dignity, independence and teamwork, with ongoing training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Previous care or support experience with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Able to tailor support to individuals with varying communication styles and needs.
• Clear communicator, patient, observant and resilient under pressure.
• Able to work as part of a team to provide consistent person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and medication support to individuals.
• Encourage participation in activities they love and accompany outings.
• Support with daily living tasks and community activities while promoting dignity and independence.
• Follow care plans and PBS approaches to ensure consistent support.
