Job summary

Voyage Care in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people gain more independence in daily living within a vibrant team. You will support with personal care, life skills, and community participation, fostering confidence and progress.

The role requires a caring, resilient approach and the ability to follow Positive Behaviour Support plans. DBS checks and references are required; vehicle driving may be needed for some shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, including behaviour in distress, mental health conditions, autism and trauma.
• DBS checks and references will be required for all offers.
• Must be genuinely caring and resilient with hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily living and teach new life skills.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community engagement.
• Involve clients in activities, outings to bars, pubs, cinema, etc.
