Job summary

Voyage Care in Headley Down is looking for caring, hands-on Male Support Workers. You will help residents gain independence, assist with daily living and support community access in a dynamic team. DBS checks apply and training is provided.

Salary includes enhanced pay for evenings and weekends, with overtime premiums and flexible benefits through Wagestream and discounts. A full UK driving licence is preferred and resilience and reflective practice are valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Experience working with individuals with autism and complex needs.
• Able to remain resilient, flexible and composed.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Encourage access to local communities and socialise.
• Plan and participate in meaningful activities and outings.
• Support people to meet goals and learn new life skills.
