Job summary

Voyage Care in Crewe is seeking genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers to enhance the quality of life for people we support. You will help individuals gain independence, assist with daily tasks and support participation in community activities.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, be resilient and flexible, and have experience with Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice. DBS checks will be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support and behaviours of distress.
• Excellent communications skills, including verbal de-escalation.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.
• Support with activities, community access, socialising and learning new life skills.
• Work within a small, dynamic team to deliver person-centred support.
