Job summary

Voyage Care Bridgwater is seeking caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people gain independence in a supportive team. You’ll assist with daily living, personal care, and community access, teaching life skills and encouraging social involvement.

Typical shifts include early to late coverage, with a focus on empowering individuals to reach their goals. A valid UK driving license, resilience, and PBSP/reflection experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Caring, hands-on approach to support.
• Resilient and flexible in a dynamic service environment.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily living.
• Teach life skills and support socialisation and community access.
• Assist with personal care and encourage engagement in activities.
• Support with outings to bars/pubs, cinema, and home-based leisure.
