Job summary

Advance is seeking a Female Support Worker in Bromsgrove to help customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions live the lives they choose. We offer flexible hours, training and a rewarding career in Social Care.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle; mileage is paid at 0.55p per mile. The role involves 16 contracted hours per week across various shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Good at working on your own and within a team.
• Excellent at communicating with people.
• Able to complete quality support records.
• Able to work every other weekends.
• Able to work between 7am and 10:30pm.
• Follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain records.
• Literate and numerate in English.
• Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keep accurate records and update care plans as required.
• Keep up to date with training.
