Job summary
Dimensions is recruiting a compassionate Support Worker for our Bromsgrove service (B60). This part-time role is 28 hours per week at £12.85 per hour, with a full UK driving licence required.
You will support five adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them stay active, participate in meaningful activities, and maintain independence with dignity and respect in a warm home setting. Qualifications
- Compassionate, motivated and team-focused as outlined in the role description.
- Experience in care is helpful but not essential; full training is provided.
- A manual UK driving licence is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Promoting independence and supporting people to live the lives they choose.
- Personal care and mobility support, including hoisting and repositioning.
- Wheelchair support and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Medication administration, including epilepsy support.
- Daily living support, including cooking, cleaning, shopping and appointments.
- Encouraging engagement in activities and community outings.
- Building strong, positive relationships with the people you support and your team.
