Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Heanor is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team. If you want to move away from desk work and spend your day facilitating fun, structured activities tailored to individual interests, this is the place for you.

You will promote independence, lead activities, and build connections with service users, including those with autism. DBS and training are required, but we can help with online training at a subsidised fee.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Support Worker; experience with autism spectrum conditions is highly valued.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training.
• At least 3 months experience supporting service users with Autism within a formal support service.
• Referenceable work history.

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Support Worker you will need:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
• A Referenceable work history
• At least 3 months experience supporting service users with Autism within a formal support service

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Ongoing hours with the opportunity to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

We have flexible part time opportunities available for the right candidate with typical hours being 09:00 to 15:30 on days from Monday to Friday.
