Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to deliver outstanding healthcare at Gotts Park - Yorkshire Supported Living, Leeds. The role is full-time, 42 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends on a two-week rolling rota.

You will support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in a private, supported living setting. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension schemes, discounts, private health plans, and wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Support service users to access the community and participate in work, college, hobbies, activities, days out & holidays.
• Encourage growth and development by engaging them in tasks like cooking & cleaning.

The service offers personalised and tailored support in a private space, allowing the people we support to hold their own tenancy with a registered housing association.We know how important it is for individuals to have the right support so they can live the life they want to live.We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
