Job summary

Lifeways in Worcester is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Bedwardine Court to help adults live more independently in their homes and communities.

You’ll provide compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and support with health and wellbeing under a flexible rota that includes early and late shifts across 7 days. Full training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and wellbeing.
• Support with medication where required.
• Plan and prepare meals for residents.
• Carry out household tasks to maintain a safe home.

Support Worker – Bedwardine Court, Worcester
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Shifts: 7am-2.30pm/ 2.30pm-10pm

About the Role

You’ll be supporting adults with:

• Autism
• Physical disabilities
• Acquired brain injuries

Support is tailored to each person’s unique needs, helping them live more independently in their homes and communities.

Your Responsibilities as a Support Worker

You’ll support with:

• Personal care and wellbeing
• Medication support
• Meal planning and preparation
• Household tasks
• Building confidence and independence
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
• Maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively with your team

Please note: You will be working on a rota basis —you will not be able to select your own shifts. Flexibility is required across a 7-day week.
